Hey, Folks.
Summer is behind us and I’m busy harvesting my garden before heading out on tour. It was a great summer, lots of shows, beach days, visitors and gardening. Performance highlights for me were Stanfest, Lunenburg Folk Festival and The PEI Jazz Festival.
I am thrilled to tell you that my son Patrick will be touring with me this fall. We have some shows here on the Island, and are doing eleven shows with Home Routes in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Patrick plays a bunch of instruments, but will be focusing on guitar, mandolin and vocals for this trip. I’m so excited to be playing with him! After the prairie tour I’m headed to The Yukon for a few shows in early November and then going to Calgary and Golden, BC.
It’s going to be a busy winter. I’ve embarked on a project to create an online song book of PEI folksongs. More about that later. I’ll be touring quite a bit in the winter with shows in Ontario in February, The Haliburton Folk camp and—heads up—a Sound Yoga camp in Puerto Morelos, Mexico in early March.
