Spring tour Montreal, Ottawa, Townships

April 21, 2014

Hey, Folks.

Spring is finally here. The snow left a few days ago and I’ve been planting kale and spinach and waiting for the garlic to appear. What a brutal winter!! Lucky for me I was busy touring and spent some time in Mexico too. Our singing/yoga workshop went really well and I loved doing yoga every day on the beach with my fellow teacher Lynda Shadbolt. Puerto Morelos is the perfect little village and being a short taxi ride from Cancun it’s easy to get to. Next year we’re planning to be there most of March and offer two workshops to give our clientle more options. I hope you can join us!

It was a delightful winter of touring, first with my buddy October Browne in cities all around Southern Ontario and then back to Halibuton with P.E.I. friends Tim Chassion and Catherine MacLellan for Winter Folk Camp. ECMA just wrapped up here in P.E.I. and we are busy making summer plans, but first it’s time for my annual trek to Montreal, The Townships and Ottawa. My very talented son Patrick Bunston is performing with me. Patrick writes, sings and plays guitar, saxophone and mandolin It is so heart warming to have him on stage with me. His new band called Larque, with three of his friends, just won the battle of the bands here and made a big splash at  ECMA events. I can’t wait to introduce him to my spring tour friends.
