We have a very exciting show coming up on Thursday, June 30th at the Tracadie Community Hall as part of the Glenaladale Festival. The festival is celebrating 250 years since the Scots arrived on these shores. We will be playing traditional Celtic and Gaelic songs as well as songs I’ve written based on folktales collected over the years. I’ll be joined by my niece Katlin Doyle and my son Patrick Bunston. Sad news, glad news… it’s been a tough winter for our island community. We lost a couple of beloved musicians: Koady Chaisson from The East Pointers and Pastelle LeBlanc from Vishtèn, and also Felix Forrester-Wendt from our farmers market family. We are a tight-knit community, so these losses hit hard.
