Happy Autumn, Folks.
Fall started for us at the wonderful Deep Roots Folk Festival in Wolfville, N.S. It was great to share the stage with Jaron Freeman-Fox again. My son Patrick and I have an exciting touring schedule in the coming months. We have a hometown gig here Saturday night, a double bill with his band Larque at The Harmony House Theatre in Hunter River. On Wednesday we head to The Yukon for a bunch of shows and a singing workshop.

Spring is finally here. The snow left a few days ago and I’ve been planting kale and spinach and waiting for the garlic to appear. What a brutal winter!! Lucky for me I was busy touring and spent some time in Mexico too. Our singing/yoga workshop went really well and I loved doing yoga every day on the beach with my fellow teacher Lynda Shadbolt.
