Thank you! My fans are amazing! Check out the new video.

October 6, 2015

Hey, Folks.

My fans are the best! Thank you, thank you. Your generous response to my new recording, I Remember Canada, is heartwarming in the extreme. So many of you ordered multiple copies, paid well over the minimum, and sent lovely notes. I am overwhelmed. I have the classiest fan base out there. If you haven’t had time to order a copy you are welcome to now through Bandcamp.

The video for “I Remember Canada” is being viewed by over 1000 people every day. Please check it out and share it widely with your friends. A big thank you to Eliza Starchild Knockwood for her amazing footage and hard work putting the video together.

We have a new video just out of the gate. It’s called “Leave it in the Ground”, put together by my sweet friend Kat McKernan. The hard truth is we need to leave much of our fossil fuel reserves in the ground to avoid catastrophic climate change. The extraction we do must respect the environment and have a social license. It’s time to embrace a green economy.

Running for the Greens is an amazing experience. I was tentative at first but have embraced our forward-thinking platform and am enjoying the debates and door to door conversations. I am terribly worried about this election. We’ve been CONNED with weapons of mass distraction and the media are ignoring the big issues: an expired health accord, massive debt over the last decade, erosion of democracy, Canada Post and CBC on the shopping block, 23 new trade deals that have delivered a deeper trade deficit and we are about to sign another that will give away the farm — literally.

I’ll be back out on tour with October Browne in November with shows across Ontario. We are still looking for dates in the Belleville-Perth-Ottawa corridor. Would you like to host a house concert? We would love to do one in your living room.

Take care, folks. Happy harvest and, once again, thank you for your kind response to I Remember Canada. This CD is certainly resonating with people across the country and beyond.

Cheers,
Teresa

“Teresa Doyle, Canadian singer-songwriter supreme and now political activist, takes another step forward in her wonderful career! Her latest album, I Remember Canada, touches the heart deeply as it tackles difficult social issues such as Clean Water, the Oil Industry, Fracking, the climate and the arms/refugee problem. Brilliantly written and produced, this recording is a must for all! Truly songs that encourage you to think while you are listening!”
