On tour in Ontario with October Browne

November 9, 2015

Hello, Folks.

Well the election is behind us and I must say I really enjoyed running for the Green Party. We had a fine slate of candidates here in P.E.I. and had the second highest provincial popular vote for the Greens, coming in just behind B.C. People were very kind and respectful at the doors and I didn’t even encounter any mean dogs. I’ve decided to try and keep more active on political issues and my new album certainly reflects my views on democracy, the environment, etc. It’s very exciting to see so many very talented people in the Trudeau cabinet. We wish them the best.

Here’s the video for my song “Leave it in the Ground” off the new CD, I Remember Canada. This song is timely with the upcoming talks in Paris. The video was a labour of love done by my young friend Kat McKernan.

Thanks again to all the folks that bought my CD. That support really helped me get through the campaign and together we’ve gotten rid of the despot. It is a new day! I still have lots of CDs and the songs highlight many of the things we need to accomplish as a nation. Feel free to send a copy to your new MP.

Cheers,
Teresa
