Show August 14 and Songs for a Small Planet Festival Aug 20 to 21 at Rock Barra Artist Retreat

I am delighted to be performing at Rock Barra Retreat Sunday, Aug 14 with my son Patrick Bunston and niece Katlin Doyle. This is our last trio show of the season. Doors open at 7:00 showtime is 7:30. The amazing young songwriter Justyn Young is opening for us. Tickets are $20 at the door.

I hope you are enjoying your summer! Heads up, tomorrow (Thursday, July 7), I have my one and only jazz gig of the summer.

I feel very fortunate to have such a stellar band: Ian Toms on guitar, Mat MacEachern on drums, Chris Martel on bass and our wonderful organizer and saxophonist Dan Rowswell.

Hey, folks. 

We have a very exciting show coming up on Thursday, June 30th at the Tracadie Community Hall as part of the Glenaladale Festival. The festival is celebrating 250 years since the Scots arrived on these shores. Sad news, glad news

Sad news, glad news… it’s been a tough winter for our island community. We lost a couple of beloved musicians: Koady Chaisson from The East Pointers and Pastelle LeBlanc from Vishtèn, and also Felix Forrester-Wendt from our farmers market family. We are a tight-knit community, so these losses hit hard.

I am delighted to report that we have three live shows coming up soon. Imagine, live shows!!!

On Saturday, March 12 my son Patrick Bunston, my niece Katlin Doyle and I are playing at Copper Bottom in Montague, PEI from 3:00-5:00 pm. This show is being presented by Cloggeroo Folk Festival.

On March 31, I am at Baba’s Lounge in Charlottetown with Ian Toms, Chris Martell and Dan Rowswell for a night of jazz.
