Sad news, glad news… it’s been a tough winter for our island community. We lost a couple of beloved musicians: Koady Chaisson from The East Pointers and Pastelle LeBlanc from Vishtèn, and also Felix Forrester-Wendt from our farmers market family. We are a tight-knit community, so these losses hit hard.

On Saturday, March 12 my son Patrick Bunston, my niece Katlin Doyle and I are playing at Copper Bottom in Montague, PEI from 3:00-5:00 pm. This show is being presented by Cloggeroo Folk Festival.

It’s been a while since I’ve sent out a note. Crazy times, eh? It’s a good time for kindness and patience and gardening. I am so grateful to be home on Prince Edward Island this summer but it feels weird not to be doing shows… for the first time in four decades.
